Why does Anvil show more active NFTs?
Anvil reads the counter stored in the contract. A transferred NFT immediately loses eligibility, but remains in that counter until its activation is settled or kicked. YardWatch therefore shows the Anvil counter separately from activations still valid for the current owner.

How to read this
This describes market momentum, not fear, greed or a recommendation to trade. Positive or negative momentum requires YARD’s USD price and the NFT floor in ETH to both move at least 5% in the same direction over seven days. Smaller moves in both are “Balanced”; disagreement is “Mixed signals”. These thresholds are an initial rule, not a statistically validated model.
Both prices must be less than one hour old, with a baseline within six hours of seven days ago, observations on at least six calendar days and no gap over 36 hours. Otherwise, no direction is shown. Confidence is limited until both histories cover roughly 30 days with at least 24 observed days and no gap over two days; it is then moderate, never a guarantee.
Sources: YARD price history (CoinGecko/server snapshots), OpenSea asking-floor history and stored Anvil vault inventory. An asking floor is not a completed sale. Vault movements, activations and upgrades do not establish buying sentiment and do not affect the direction. Trading volume and social sentiment are not included. No numerical score is assigned.

How these metrics are calculated
YardWatch reads counters, quotes and contract events directly from Robinhood Chain. Chart dates are mapped to block timestamps. The Anvil cost comes from quoteRandomBuy() plus the fixed network fee. Prices prioritize CoinGecko, with DEX Screener as a fallback; OpenSea supplies the current floor, active listings and official rarity ranks. MA7 and MA30 use daily YARD closes; RSI 14 uses Wilder smoothing and describes momentum, not a buy or sell signal.
